IPhone 6 Wi-Fi displays no IMEI when dialing *#06# after dropping.
Repair Process
This kind of trouble is caused by that the circuit of the RFFE bus pins’ solder pad under the baseband breaks. After removing the front panel assembly, pry up the baseband CPU and we can find the pin U1 and pin V1 come off from their solder pad besides other empty joints, as shown in picture 1-16.
Use an iphone chip conductor jump wire starting from pin U1 to connect the test point at the back of logic board and paint UV Curable Solder Mask on it. Then, weld baseband CPU . The way to use the enameled wire is shown in picture 1-17 and 1-18.
After the above steps done, iPhone displays IMEI when dialing *#06# and it is normal to dial. The trouble is removed.
